St. Joshua

Joshua is an Old Testament figure whose dates of birth and death are unrecorded as far as I can tell. He did live to be 110 years old. There was no such thing as "canonization" in those days, but since he served Moses through the instruction of God, we can be fairly certain that he is in heaven, and therefore, a saint.

Joshua was one of the twelve spies sent by Moses to reconnoiter the land of Canaan as the Israelites left Egypt on their exodus. Joshua and Caleb were the only two who had confidence in God and would recommended a direct attack. Because of their faith and trust they were exempt from the condemnation of that generation to death in the wilderness. God instructed Moses to lay hands on Joshua to designate him leader to follow him. God commissioned Joshua to lead the Israelites into the promised land and conquer it as well as to distribute the land to the twelve tribes of Israel.
